We have a couple that wre married in 1860's. Whilst husband was away at sea took a lodger The lodger and the female concerned had an affair and she 2 children by in early 1870's and during the pregnancy of 2nd child married having divorced first husband or via versa. The marriage entry for the 2nd marriage stated clearly on the entry formerly X previously married to X divorced and no sign of any wealth has shown up here. Just another spanner in the works..
