Hello Mike - does this refer only to Derbyshire - Would each county have their own list of strays? I know you don't have the answer but I suppose it is a good query for the different mailing lists we belong to - maybe they would consider doing the same? I know at one time they were giving names of strays from the census. Wouldn't it be grand if they did! so we could find that elusive stray! There names appear in Settlements or Removals, as Rogues and Vagabonds and while the list of Hampshire folk is small it will no doubt continue to grow. The site is regularly updated, so take a look some of you may find a lost ancestor.
