Dear List, Happy New Year to everyone. Just thought it might be worth listing our surnames again - always hopeful! Just Hampshire ones: LANE - in and around Gosport/Fareham from about 1885 - Henry (born 1869, East Cowes), living at Malling Cottage, No 1, Fareham in 1891, and in and around Foxbury Cottages, Gosport until the 1930s. Married Alice Maria BRIDGES, in Fareham in 1891. She was born Bishops Waltham. Her parents: Joseph Bridges and Martha REEVES. Joseph from Dundrige, Martha from Bishopstoke, married 1846 in Durley. TAYLOR in and around Fareham/Gosport after 1881. Albert Edward, born Freshwater 1876, married Sarah FRAMPTON, born Boscombe 1878, in Elson in 1899. Sarah's ancestors include: DEACON, REEKS, HUTCHIN(G)S, SELLEY, TANNER, PITT, CORBIN, SILLEY, SCOVELL, HARVEY, RO(D)GERS, WARNE.
