    3. Has anyone any info on: William Pain Birth 1834, Hampshire Residence 1851, Tufton, Hampshire William was a pupil and classed as a gentleman on the Census. Residence 1871, Woodmancott, Hampshire I cannot find anything for 1861 - also could anyone with the 1841 Census please do a look up for me. Many thanks Jane Huddersfield

Hi Jane - not sure what you have already received but have found the following entries: 1841 Woodmancot Charles PAIN 50 Farmer Mary 30 Louisa 2 Plus 3 servants All listed as born in county (I don't have an index so cannot find William) 1851 Bishops Sutton Charles COLLIS 36 Yeoman 800 acres. B Kingsomborne Anne 20. B Woodmancote Charles Pain COLLIS 3m. B Bishops Sutton Mary PAINE 41 Wid/visitor/annuitant. B Bullington Louisa 12. B Woodmancote Mary Courtenay PAINE 8 B Woodmancote 1861 Bishops Sutton Mary PAINE 51 Wid/independent. B Bullington William 27 Son/gentleman. B Woodmancote Mary C 18 B Woodmancote Plus 3 servants.
