Hi, Weatherman was just saying that we get an average, in Canada, of 200cm of snow per year and that it snows approx. 83 days. Thanks to all, and Linda and Tony, for helping me with my little tree ~~ Good Cheer Edna n' Ken - snowy Ottawa Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May all your trees be Family and all your friends remember theirs. We are warm and wet after 4 weeks of Darn Cold Weather. The dogs are frantic as they are losing their snow they love to play in. They come in now dripping wet and their sides heaving. There is excitement in the air and parcels are inspected but not opened. Our gifts are stuffies and tennis balls for all five dogs. This is what happens when you get older and all the children are all over the place. We have become eccentric and peculiar. I am still faced with my Brick Walls and really need to travel to get past them. So my wish for you is that all your brick walls tumble and all the branches of your family tree be located. Bless you all, Moira Victoria Moira Simmonds Armstrong, B.C. Can. victoria@cnx.net WhiteHawk Clumber Spaniels www.fuzzyfaces.com/whitehawk1.html
Remember Edna that you in Ottawa/Stittsville are of course much further north than we are in balmy Toronto (47°40 N) which is on the same level as Cannes. Here we get an average of only 85cm of snow a year, about 60% of your snowfall. The forecast for Christmas Day here is for rain with a high of 2°C, which is only 4°C cooler than London, England. May you all have a happy, blessed Christmas, and may the New Year be a happy one and bring you health and growth to your trees. David.
