Dear all, I am still looking for my Paul Lavington born 1744 abt.( I know his mother was Mary). I have found a Lucy Lavington Christen 3 Nov 1742 , Heckfield, Hampshire Miriam lavington Christen 8 mar 1738, Heckfield, Hampshire. Father was Charles Mother was Mary I have checked Tony and Linda's web page but no lavingtons at all for Heckford.. If any one has access to the Parish records for Heckfield could you please see if Charles and Mary had a Paul born around 1744. This is a stab in the dark as I can not find them in Houghton, Hampshire. The Hampshire Records Office could not find them in the settlement certificates either. But did suggest that I could try searching the surrounding parishes to Houghton such as Stockbridge and Kings Somborne.
