Hi list I am new to the England genealogy list.? I found a few births, deaths and marriages that might be related on Ancestry.com's England & Wales, Free BMD Indexes from 1837-1983.? My question is, if I order the certificates, will they have any more information than what is listed on Ancestry.com?? For example, the births do not give the actual date, just the year and the quarter the birth was recorded in.? Will the actual record give me the actual day, and month? And will it give me the names of the parents?? I am talking about births in the 1835-50 time frame.? And would the marriage records, in the time frame of 1867-1880 give me the parents names?? And another question, I woman is listed in the 1871 census as being born in Odiham, Hampshire, England, yet when I put that info in the search criteria, no names will come up for Odiham.? Is there another name of the town that might have the births for the town of Odiahm? By the way, the names I am researching are William Milward, born ca. 1835 in Henley, Oxfordshire (parents most likely are Henry and Ann Milward from the same town) and Fanny (listed on one census in the US as Phyllis), born ca. 1848 in Odiham, Hampshire, Parents unknown.? William and?Fanny had 4 children, 3 who lived to adulthood.? They are Edith A, Maurice W. (who were both born in Basingstoke, Hampshire) and their youngest son Frank, who was born in Michigan, United States.? I believe William and Fanny immigrated to the US in 1873.?
