County: Hampshire Country: England Cawte, Richard, of Upham, yeoman, 30, b., & Sarah Cussall, of Bishop's Waltham, 20, sp., at B. W., Twyford, or Trinity, Winchester, 10 Jan 1742 My Cawte family begins in Upham Hampshire and I have a Richard born in Upham on 20 March 1709 to Richard Cawte and Elizabeth Turner. If we take the date of 10 Jane 1742and this Richard supposedly 30 years of age, that would make him born 1712. I feel he must either be my Richard or a close relative. Is there any way I could find out more information? I haven't come across an entry like this before and am not sure how to proceed further.
