The CALM catalogue for the Hampshire Record Office shows the following document - 11M59/E2/316654 Title Duplicate deed of enfranchisement of property in the parish of Ropley, part of the Winchester Bishopric estate, by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners to WJ Stubbs and another Date 1 Jun 1909 This suggests that the Bishop of Winchester may have been the Lord of the Manor. If so, you will need to visit the HRO to see any relevant documents such as manorial court records.
