    2. Hi I have been following your list for some time but wondered if anyone could tell me who the chief landowner was in the 1800s. Do any records still exist for this area as my family farmed a large farm called Manor Farm at Ropley. I believe that the Manor Farm was inhabited by another branch of the Stubbs family although I am not sure which one. Before that they lived at North Street, Ropley, and were concerned with farming then.
