Dear all Some time ago there was some discussion on this list of the family if Isaac and Maria SANSOM, which I found in the list archives. I have been trying to contact the people who made these posts, specifically a Dawn Voit from the USA, but her email address then is obviously no longer current. If you read this, Dawn, would you contact me please? If anyone else can help me, I would be grateful. I am trying to find the marriage of Isaac SANSOM and Maria STRIDE which took place c. 1826. Their first child, John, was baptised at Portsmouth in 1827 (according to the IGI). A second child, Elizabeth, is reputed to have been born on the Isle of Wight. Some time between 1830 and 1835 the family came to South Africa. Any help and/or suggestions welcome. Many thanks Anne from Somerset West, South Africa
