Hi, Is anyone good at reading old handwriting? I would be interested to know where a John Whlth (supposed to be WELCH!) was born.On the 1851 census he is listed as being born in Hants which I take as Hampshire and then there is another place name beginning with what I think is B but the rest of it I can't read. Can anyone decipher it for me?! This may help!Source Citation: Class: HO107; Piece: 1475; Folio: 544; Page: 43; GSU roll: 87798 Many thanks and good luck!
