My COUZENS (and variants) so far go back to Havant 1675 Other surnames connected to this branch in Hamp are: POLLINGTON, BAILEY (twice), CUTLER, CATHERY & VOKES (Surrey) Eventually my branch ended up in Emsworth/Warblington and then on to West Dean, W Ssx. My gg Caroline Couzens was born 1864 in West Dean, Ssx and came here to Ontario in 1872 at 8 years of age as a British Home Child. I have a lot of informaion on the Home Children.
