I'm sorry, I've lost the email from someone recently looking for information about the whereabouts of Sarson - but, I just tried entering 'Sarson' in the search on the Hampshire County Council archives site ( see link below from Alan's posting) and it brings up lots of entries that you might find useful/interesting to pursue.
