My solution is to write anyway and ask them to reply via e-mail so you can establish a contact with them and then you can take it from there. I can send a letter to Oz with two stamps and you can go to the post office there and get a international stamp to use for SAS letters ..I have done it several times..and sometimes they have returned them along with the information requested..People who do genealogy are great at sharing..but it is a two way street..
