    3. Ooogh! I know this because I used to live there!!! Well, in Sarson Close, Amport, just west of Andover. If you put Sarson Close or SP11 8AB into any of the map sites (e.g. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl ) you'll be able to see where it is and an aerial photo. The houses built on the site now were originally built by the council probably about 1930/40s, but are now nearly all privately owned. This site also has information - http://www.envf.port.ac.uk/hantsgaz/hantsgaz/HGANDX_F.HTM and this site has maps of all different eras - this one is of 1826 and shows Sarson a little further over than where Sarson Close is today. http://www.geog.port.ac.uk/webmap/hantsmap/hantsmap/grnwood2/grw45.htm If you want photos of the area, take a look at http://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/SU3044?nl=1 although there aren't any of Sarson Close specifically - the village of Amport is very pretty. What is your link with Sarson?
