I guess the marriage cert for the Helena in 1911 would at least eliminate that possibility - could be worth the investment just for that. We think that she is the Louisa Denny listed in the Salvation Army home in Portsmouth in the 1901 census, aged 12. She may also be the Helena J S Denny who married in 1911 in Portsmouth. possibly to a Henry Churchman (FreeBMD has him as a possible partner). <snip> Is there anyone on either list who may be able to help?
