Hi Listers Returning after nearly a year away from my Hampshire genealogy, I am wondering if someone can tell me if there is in existence any settlement deeds or appropriate documentation for folk moving from Basingstoke to Bishops Sutton. I am trying to establish if WILLIAM KNIGHT baptised 1759 in Basingstoke, son of RICHARD and RUTH KNIGHT, could be the same WILLIAM KNIGHT who married ELIZABETH ANDREWS in Bishops Sutton in 1782 as his age on death matches plus familial names are interesting.
