Daniel NEWMAN was a widower in the 1861 census living in Hambledon with his sister Louisa he was born East Meon. Could it be that Sarah was an unmarried mother and Eliza was Daniel and Sarah's daughter pre marriage but was brought up by George and Elizabeth whilst Sarah was working? Sarah could therefore be George KNIGHT's sister? Did George have a sister called Sarah Edna?
