Further to my e-mail I posted a few minutes ago, I looked at two photographs I have. One is of the day my parents were married in COBH (Queenstown) Ireland 17/2/1929, when my father was based in Spike Island. In the small wedding group is an Army friend of my Dad who was the likely witness who signed as H. LYNCH on the marriage certificate. In a later photograph of my father and two friends in Army uniform, one of the friends is the same soldier who was in the wedding group photo. It could have been in Aldershot Barracks as my father was based back there afterwards. Does this name jog anyones memory? I am willing to share the photographs with anyone who has this person in their family line. Thank you and kind regards. April.
