When I sent this I really had given up all hope of getting any information on my great uncle. This has been a great help but the biggest shock was being on a list of Crook names and finding someone who had information on my great Grandmother John V's mother. I found out that although my grandfather had died in 1958 his brother John V. who was born in 1884 lived until 1983. I have rec'd so much information on my CROOK family that I am reading and rereading and certainly now know a lot more about John Vaughn Baggs. Sadly had I known he was still living, Why didn't I know?????? Family secrets?? I do not recall he was mentioned in my grandfather's obituary or that anyone in the family knew anything of his still living in England. It makes me sad I missed him. I found he and his wife in the 1911 census which I had hunted many times before with no mention of either he or his wife and it said no children at that time living or dead.
