Hi Listers, I have just received the death certificate for Lloyd G. WRIGHT. He died in 1973 in Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital, Alton, Hants. He had lived for 10 or 12 years with a woman not his wife although he and his wife never divorced. To the best of my knowledge he and his wife Florence were never reconciled. However, on his death she was responsible for his funeral arrangements and registering his death. Under section 6, Occupation and usual address of deceased it says: Omnibus driver, 98 Manor Road, Alton, Hants. Name & surname of informant Florence Ellen Wright usual address 98 Manor Road, Alton, Hants. In the circumstances this seems odd. I know his address was somewhere else in Alton because my husband corresponded with his father. Any ideas as to why Florence would say he lived with her. Could it have anything to do with receiving a widow's pension? Lloyd was 58 at his death Florence was 62. Elizabeth
