    1. [HAM] Edward DAY & Elizabeth DEAN - c 1825 Selborne
    2. Peter Booth (2)
    3. List, Would anyone have access to Selborne PR's on Fiche or CD and could do a lookup for the above? Their son Edward Dalby Day migrated to Australia around 1855. At his 1859 NSW marriage to Mary Jane Bright he give age as 32, birthplace Selborne and parents Edward Day & Elizabeth Dean. Father's occupation is a gamekeeper. I'm looking for possible marriage or any siblings of Edward and clues to origins of parents. I've looked through every census record on both Ancestry and Find My Past but cannot find a single DAY surname born in Selborne except a widow Elizabeth in 1891 and 1901. But her birth c1820 means it's a different Elizabeth, too young to be Edward's mother. I would certainly appreciate it, if anybody has links to this family. PS!! There are some dubious submissions at Ancestry Family Trees. It looks like somebody has taken another Edward Day and Elizabeth couple in Surrey and intermingled every child they can find irrespective of dates and locations. The data doesn't even match census records. Peter in Sydney
