    3. Thanks Mike, yes, i've go there. It is Hiram. I hadn't realised you could alter the image like that. I'd sort of thought it was a variation on offering different image types to cope with different computers. Thanks to all who have offered advice. it was very fast and helpful :-) le durachd Fionnghal > Did you notice that the second image called up was the > correct one? It looks > more like Hiram to me. 3. oh, right, i only saw the one icon. but i see what you mean. I never noticed that option before. i just copy/paste the UKD... url into the browser url bar rather than clicking on the "view the original" icon? ok. i'll try that. Yes, Hiram. some other members found him. thank you, Harry :-) le durachd Fionnghal > > There are *two* scans listed on the Entry Information > page -- click on the second one < > UKD-01/1844D2-0053.tif > which is the correct page. > Looks like the name is *Hiram* BEVIS

You can't report it via the transcription error reporting page but you can report it. You need to go to the main page then click on Information then go to the About Us page and scroll down to the Corrections Co-ordinator and click on the blue 'here' link. That takes you to the contact details for Kevin who is also one of the webmasters. > I suspect the forename HIRGN is really HUGH and is a transcription > error from the original register but without access to that, > there's not much one can do about it. The scans are available on FMP and it's Hiram, not Hugh. I've sent in a correction on your behalf.

    3. All you have to do is click on the Reject button lower on the page and it reports the problem. Did you notice that the second image called up was the correct one? It looks more like Hiram to me. I submitted a correction but it takes a while to work through the system.
