    3. Hi Marilyn - entry is not much help I'm afraid: 1891 South Stoneham William BELL 55 Dockmasters Asst. B Southampton Mary 50. B Totton Alice 27 B Southampton Florence 12. B Southampton Archibald 2. Nephew. B Southampton James 46. Brother/joiner. B Southampton I have not been able to find a Leah who fits the one in the 1901 census. I think Coventry is in Warwickshire although whatever the little scribble the enumerator has made is certainly indexed as Devon. This is certainly the same couple as Leah and Archibald are with in 1901 but can't help any more than that I'm afraid. Could not locate a likely James W G BELL in 1891 either. Others may have more luck. Cheers, Patsy - New Zealand. > Would someone be so kind as to look up the following family in the 1891 > census > > Archibald Bell born about 1890 Southampton, Hants. > Leah Bell, born about 1889 Coventry, Devon. Grrrr. Hmmm odd, cos that's exactly what I did? Jemima in first name, blank in surname, portsea in keywords, England in country and hampshire in county, searched and looked down to the result page that included the entries beginning with "R" and there she was ? 3. Hi Gail For your info. I was in Durley/Winchester HAM this year visiting our cousins and attempted to purchase this book for our family in Australia. It is no longer available new, even in Durley. One cousin even contacted John Bosworth for me but he could not assist. We went into Winchester one day and searched every new and second hand bookshop for copies but none were located. If you do obtain a source I also would be interested in a copy. A 3rd cousin here in Perth does have the book and I may have to borrow and scan the relevant family photos if all else fails. Regards Allan Cresswell Western Australia
