Hi Amanda If you have not already done so, you might try this ... http://www.one-name.org/profiles/sweetingham.html Interestingly, the author of the page suggests that the Sweetingham's are often to be found in or around coastal inlets or harbours - such as Alverstoke and Portsmouth. Sway, if you did not already know, is just inland from Lymington, which has been a reasonably important harbour.
