They emigrated to Ontario, Canada in the 1920's. Her father, John Hamilton and her brother and two sisters also emigrated from County Down and settled in the same town a few years later. My grandmother was born in Carrowdore and lived in the Grey Abbey area. My great-grandmother's name was Agnes Reid. I know there were cousins in the U.S. I believe in the Flint, Michigan area. Do you think we might have a connection?
