When I was in the Marine Corps, they used swabs to swipe the inside of my mouth, then sealed and tagged it. Is this the same procedure? There are sterile swabs and a sterile kit to send it back in. They assign you a number for privacy. FTM is only one of the companies involved in DNA testing as a way to show relationships. I understand you may have this testing at local labs but with much more cost. FTM has what you might call a group rate. It is less now than when I had the testing performed.
