to Jim Hamilton from Houston, Texas Jim, My greatgrandfather Joshua Hamilton was said by whoever wrote his obituary to have been born in Ky, and moved to Tenn., then later, with his first wife, Ella, to Mo., near Marshfield. Others have said he was born in Tenn., so I don't know. I haven't found him any farther back than when he lived on a farm near Marshfield, Mo. I would like to track him down.
