Stephanie Hello Stephanie, Happy Holiday to You and Yours, The above does not seem to be an immediate connection. BUT................. There is a book "History of Marion Co., SC" by W.W. Sellers. Many libraries that have a Genealogy Dept. will have copies. Mr. Sellers was a resident of the area and gives bios of Many of the families. There is another book written by a lady that has Pee Dee (for the PeeDee River) in the title. I don't remember a Zack nor Levi; however, I have seen those two names somewhere. They did not connect and I have no records. In the census of Marion Co., there are two fellas, John & David Hamilton for 1800 and David and Frances in 1820. In a tax list for 1809, there is a Frances and William. In going through the court files there is a Francis Hamilton with wife, Lydia that bought property in the late 1700s and sold some in the early 1800s. I find no other mention of a Francis. None of the known children were called Francis. And as for David, other than the 1800 &1820 census and a note of a David Private of the War of 1812, Keith's 5 Regiment, SC militia Marion Co., SC; there is nothing more of David. In going through the other census, some of my fellas have had the spelling of Hambelton/Hambleton. There is a hint that the Hamiltons migrated from Charleston, SC. My Hamilton/Wiggins did not move to GA until 1892. Yet there are a fist full of Hamiltons in GA with a note that they came from SC. Will keep your name on file and if I should see the above two names will contact you, Good Luck and Great Hunting Audrey
