Hi all, I love it when someone shares an obit, but I would also like to encourage everyone to share their records by sending them to the archivist at the county level for US GenWeb Archives. The sites are usually wonderful and many people go to them to look for obits and docs before doing a search of queries or discussions. To find the state and county, go to the US GenWeb Archives located at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ and then select the state. Once at the state, select the county. On the county page, there should be info that tells you who to submit to. And don't be throw off by the info about how to submit. If you don't have time to format it, try sending it anyway. I am the archivist for the Osage County and Osage Nation GenWeb (Oklahoma) archives and I am always delighted to get documents...no matter the format. It makes more work for me, but I'd rather put in the extra time and have the document than the alternative of no document. My spouse is descended from the Hamiltons of Madison County, Kentucky. I am stuck at Bluford Hamilton born about 1810. Someone on the web thought his father was Thomas Hamilton who went to Indiana. But so far...no proof. Merry Christmas to all! Sharon Hamilton
