Hello list. I am fairly new so I thought that I would send in my Hamilton lines and see if there is anyone else out there who may connect in any way. My parents were Arthur Peaslee and Lela O.J. Hamilton born 9 Dec, 1917 in Leflore Co,Ok. She was the dau. of Hugh Hamilton b 2 Dec. 1893 in the Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory and Mary Elizabeth Wynn b 10 Dec,1893 in Johnson Co,Ar. He was the son of William L.( possibly Lewis) Hamilton b May 1856 in Ala, and his third wife Lurah A. Clayton. This couple were married in Tupelo, Lee, Ms in 1887. He and the family came by wagon train to what is now Leflore Co,Ok. in the 1880s. I have a lot of info to share and a lot of questions also. Hope to hear from some of you. Most of these Hamiltons lived and died and are buried near here. Some of the Hamilton boys married and scattered to Ca. I will go into them later. Helen Marvel
