Have been trying to research and find the parents of my great great grandfather, John Hamilton (middle initial possibly "H"). He was born in White Plains, Westchester, NY Aug 17, 1803 and died in Dalton, Georgia 1853. Married Rachel Loyd Wester In Roane County (Kingston) TN, Feb 13, 1834. Parents possibly not from Westchester County, John may have been born while they were on a visit. There seems to be a connection after 1834 to Lexington, KY before they moved to Georgia in 1839.
