My maternal grandmother, Emily Valletta Hamilton, was born in Indiana on March 24, 1854. Her parents, James Hamilton and Abigal (Abigail?) Hall were born in Ohio. My mother, Edna Maude Daniels was born in Iowa in 1883. Her parents were Emily Valletta Hamilton and Steven Henry Daniels who was born in Monroe County, PA on October 1, 1854. So it seems that the family was headed west (along with thousands of others). Family lore is that Emily came west in a wagon train -- and that makes identity difficult. Maybe Emily Left siblings, aunts, uncles, etc. in Ohio or Indiana as she traveled? -----Original Message----- From: Daryl Vogan [mailto:daryl_vogan@hotmail.com] Sent: Monday, May 20, 2002 10:55 AM To: HAMILTON-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [HAM] Earle Hamilton bn abt. 1830's Meadville, PA Are you from Meadville?
