I have been having trouble finding any information on James, his father William Hamilton and his father Levi Hamilton. I have contacted town and county clerk's offices and historical societies and no one seems to have any information other than vital records. I was wondering if there were any decendants of Jefferson Hamilton out there who may have researched the family history and would be willing to help. Any information would be most appreciated.
