My names don't match up completely, but there are similarities that might be clues. I have an "Ira" HAMILTON, not Ora but close, from New York state to Iowa by way of Michigan with a son Frank Eugene HAMILTON whose wife Ella Ann THOMPSON is from Michigan In the line I have followed there is no Cora or Matilda, but Mabel. But there are plenty of siblings I did not follow. This may be far fetched, but gives you another place to start.
