Hamilton in on my side of the house and Hinton is on my husbands side and I have not been able to find any thing on them. The Hintons go back to Belmont Co. Oh, ca 1873. Have the family movement of Josiah and Mary Smith HInton 1873 from In. to Ks. Also have down line info on their 12 children and a few other relatives. On my Hamiltons I only go back to Mi. about the 1870s. I beleive there were members in In. at that same time. I am really just getting started on my side of the house and I don't know much except from Ora Hamilton, son of Adam Given Hamilton, on down. There was at least one other child, a son named Harry or Henry. From there back I draw a blank, but was told not all the family moved from In. to Mi. Ora said his grandmother raised him> Sounds like our time period with soo many grandparents doing the same. Any help you can give on either the Hamilton or Hinton line, would be greatly appreciated.
