Not mine, just sharing: Ronald Charles Hamilton The homegoing celebration for Ronald Charles Hamilton, 57, of Longview will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2002, at Calvary Christian Tabernacle with the Rev. A.D. Spears and the Rev. Tim Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Turkey Creek Cemetery in Turkey Creek, La., at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. Services and burial are under the direction of Welch Funeral & Memorial Center, 4619 Judson Road. Mr. Hamilton died Friday in a local hospital. He had been a resident of Longview since 1988; was a gifted and talented math teacher at Foster Middle School, a member of Calvary Christian Tabernacle, a member of United Pentecostal Church International, and a minister. Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Hamilton, and a daughter, Lisa Lenora Hamilton. He is survived by his wife, Judy Clark Hamilton of Longview; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda Denise and Bryant Kitchell of Gilmer and Rachel Lea and James Matthews of Longview; his grandchildren, Jathan Matthews and Makenzie Kitchell; his mother, Rubye Gieger Hamilton of Port Arthur; one brother, Gerald Hamilton of Port Arthur; two sisters, Carolyn Cook of Raleigh, N.C., and Marilyn Shields of Newington, Conn.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Memorials may be made to Calvary Christian Tabernacle. The Hamilton family will receive friends at the funeral and memorial center 2-5 p.m. today, Nov. 17.
