Mary, Any idea about the place of birth of David? We have a William Hamilton born ca 1827 in Ireland/England, who lived in Allen County's neighbor Hardin County, OH. His first child was born there in 1856. We think he immigrated about 1848. There is a James born in Ireland living nearby in 1850.
