They had a child, Benjamin Franklin Hamilton, born 1852, in Amherst County, Virginia; died March 18, 1937, Upshur County, WV. He married Victoria Southard April 27, 1871 in Amherst County, Virginia, daughter of Angelina Southard. She was born December 5, 1850 in Virginia, and died November 2, 1941 in Upshur County, WV. They had seven children, Joseph Sire Hamilton, Lucy Ann Hamilton, John Thomas Hamilton, Lloyd Watson Hamilton, Samuel Floyd Hamilton, Eldrich Garfield Hamilton, and Dessie Lena Hamilton. The family moved to Buckhannon, Upshur County, West Virginia after 1873, possibly with a stay in Barbour County for a while. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don and Donna.
