Hi. I am related through my father to George Hamilton who is purported to have emigrated from Monaghan, Ireland with his wife Ann and 5 children to Adelaide, South Australia in 1854. My g/grandfather Richard Bowman married their youngest daughter, Emily at Kensington in 1861. I would dearly love to communicate with anyone who might have information about this family of Hamiltons and their history or who might be able to point me in the right direction. I have been able to trace my Bowman ancestry back to the 15th century but am finding it difficult to trace these Hamiltons.
