SC. His will names his wife Sarah, his mother-in-law Mary Anderson and his "wife's son James Hamilton". His will also says that "I give to James Hamilton after my wife's death or marriage 50 acres of land to be laid out of that left my wife ajoining of Sanders/Landers Hamilton's land". One of the witneses of the will is Alexander Hambleton/Hamilton. Who was Sarah's first husband Mr. Hamilton, and when did he die? A James Hamilton died in 1802 in Fairfield, SC and Sarah Hamilton was the Administrator. Is this the Sarah (probably Anderson) Hamilton who married David Langley?
