James' will directed that his brother, Alexander sell his 1000 A. of land (a military grant from state of Virginia) "and send the proceeds to his brother and sister in the Kingdom of Ireland." James was a Rev. soldier in Virginia and S.C. and then lived in both Augusta and Columbia Co. Ga. His wife was Ann Napier.
