My GGGGF was Maj Andrew with a son Archibald that married Mary Thompson. Do you think that this is your same Archibald?? I am just getting started at this fun thing called ancestering but have been able to find a lot of "fill the blanks" info between Maj Andrew and the present generations. Additionally, I live about an hour's drive from Abbeville, South Carolina and, therefore, have the pleasure of being able to physically connect with our ancestors; visit grave sites, etc. If you feel that we do in fact share the common ancestry, I would love to be able to share info.
