But, David Hamilton and Margaret Carlisle's daughter Anna Hamilton b 1765 married Sam Wells. Their dau Ann Wells married John Clauson (also misspelled Clawson and Clausen). Everyone mentioned is in my direct ancestry. I have found all your postings very helpful. I have a lot of stuff from John and Ann to present, but an seeking anything that goes back beyond them....like I can't yet find John's lineage, but I'm close.
