Do you know why the name was changed to Debear rather then going with Hamilton? The Mitchell family of Ann Mitchell seem to be in show business and related to Thomas Abthorpe Cooper who was known as the Father of American Theater. They also seem to have a connection to Aaron Burr and the Richmond Theater in Richmond VA. Jefferson Davis married President Zacrey Taylor's daughter. Zacrey Taylor was related to Thomas Sim Lee who son John Lee was very close friends of General Lafayette. John Lee was a cousin of Gen Robert E Lee. Now the issue is the relationships of both General Lafayette and Alexander Hamilton to George Washington. Records clearly show that George Washington considered both men as his adopted sons.
