John and Jasper, I descend from William Pickens (1748-1835) and Jane Hamilton (1758-1839), who marrried 29 Feb 1776 in Abbeville District South Carolina and moved to Middle Tennessee in 1807. Jane Hamilton was the youngest child of Archibald Hamilton (1704-1778) and Frances Calhoun (1703-aft 1778). Jasper, your Major Andrew Hamilton was a son of Archibald and Frances. I have Archibald as the son of Audley Harrison Hamilton (1677-1762) and Eleanor Adams (1687- 1748). John, that may not nail him down but it is what I have found on Ancestry and other sources. I have Audley H as the son of James H. Hamilton (1630-1652) and Catherine Leslie (1638-1700) , James H the son of Frederick Hamilton (1590-1647) and Sidney Vaughan (1590-1661), and Frederick the son of Claud Hamilton (1543-1621) and Margaret Seton (1550-1616). Both of you probably have all of this and much more. I would be happy to receive information from you, especially your 1000 year record, Jasper.
