My maternal grandmother, Emily Valletta Hamilton was born in Indiana on MARCH 24,1854. She moved to Des Moines via covered wagon while still quite young. She married one Stephen Henry Daniels (B Monroe County, PA October 01, 1854) there, gave birth to my mother in 1883 and then moved to Los Angeles, CA.
