hi does anyone out there have a mary hamilton who married william mcleod in nova scotia as follows William MCLEOD, (1834-1916), third child of Robert MCLEOD and Jemima ELLIOTT, as we have seen, was first married to Mary Isabella HAMILTON of Halifax, N.S. They had the son William Robert Gilbrath MCLEOD, that we followed, above. William Sr's wife Mary Isabella HAMILTON probably died. Whatever happened, William MCLEOD Sr. was married again on Oct. 11, 1871, to Adeline Catherine VERGE, b. _________, 1839. (Remember we mentioned earlier that William Sr's son, William Robert Gilbrath MCLEOD married Emily VERGE, a younger sister of his father's wife Adeline).
