His son Rev. Robert Hamilton married Eliza Cole McGehee and the lived their last years(1885/1886) in Decatur Co. near Bainbridge. There was also a Johnathan Hamilton, relationship unclear, Rev. Robert performed his marriage, who has descendents I have not accounted.

I too have Hamiltons in Georgia....have hunted her for ages, she is the wife of patriot, Andrew Shirk...her name was Martha Hamilton, born July 8, 1745, supposedly in Richmond County, Georgia...any possible links, plz advise.
